Biography

Jan Lennard Chudziak was born in Münster, Germany. He studied Biological Sciences (BSc) and subsequently Pharmacy at the University of Münster, obtaining his pharmacist qualification in 2021. Following his studies, he worked as a licensed pharmacist and deputy pharmacy manager, gaining experience in both community pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. In 2023, he joined the research group of Dr Dmitrii Kalinin at the University of Münster as a PhD student within the ChemBion Graduate School. His research focuses on the synthesis of novel P2X1 receptor antagonists as a new strategy for antiplatelet therapy in thrombosis. In 2025–2026, he is undertaking a research stay at Monash University in Melbourne, where he is working on cryo-EM-based structural studies.
